Career and Major

The major that I'm pursuing is Psychology. For my future as aforementioned on my about me page, I want to be a marriage counselor. In high school, I had no idea what I wanted to do. Then I took a psychology class and realized that was something that interested me and was something that I could make a career out of! Growing up I've always wanted to help people, and as I got out of the daydreaming stage and started looking more realistically at jobs I want to pursue, I realized that anything to do with nursing or hospitals would not be a good fit for me, but i still wanted to be able to help people with their struggles, and with my interest in psychology, i believe that a marriage counselor would be an amazing fit for me.

Artifact

this is a picture of me and my family. My sister (2nd from the right) is my half-sister. we share the same mom but have different dads. Also, my parents are divorced. from that alone, you can see that my family has some complicated relationships. because of this, I want to be a marriage counselor. I want to help couples when they're struggling to stay together. i want people to believe in love and marriage and i want to be there to help them figure it out.
